Dental Division
COL JFN ANAMAN - OFFICER IN CHARGE
The Dental Division contributes to the achievements of the objectives of the Military Hospital through the provision of quality dental care for entitled and other categories of patients that patronize the Military Hospital as well as provide dental backup for the various UN operations where Ghanaian troops operate.
The Division with its constituent departments such as Orthodontics, Maxillofacial and School of Dental Health provide the following range of services:
- Restorative Dentistry including Amalgam restoration, Composite Restoration, and Temporary Restoration.
- Oral Hygiene Education, screening and Scaling and Polishing.
- Prosthetic Rehabilitation such as Full Acrylic dentures, Partial Acrylic dentures, Acrylic Crown and Bridges, Ceramic Crown and bridges, Cobalt-
- Oral surgeries include Minor Oral Surgery, Facial Trauma, Facial Tumours and Orthognathic and Reconstructive Surgery such as in Cleft palate.
Training Capabilities
The Dental Division continues to upgrade its personnel through local courses, external courses and seminars to meet the ever-increasing demands for quality Dental care.
