The Minister of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry Hon Elizabeth Ofosu-Agyare accompanied by her Deputy Hon Sampson Ahi and Minister of Transport Hon Joseph Bukari Nikpe on Monday, February 23, 2026, visited the two survivors of the Burkina Faso terrorist attack on admission at the 37 Military Hospital.

They were also accompanied by the executives of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU), Ghana Association of Tomato sellers and staff of the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry.

The Head of Department (HOD) Obstetrics and Gynaecology division of the 37 Military Hospital Brig Gen Richard Naab received the entourage on behalf of the Commander of the facility Brig Gen Evelyn Vivian Abraham -Kwabiah.  

Brig Gen Naab welcomed and led them to the wards to see the patients accompanied by the Head of Department Surgical division of the hospital Commodore Seth Adjetey, acting Commanding Officer of the hospital, Lt Col Alex Abiti, Consultant Orthopedic and Trauma  Surgeon of the hospital Cdr James  Aggrey-Orleans, Chief Nursing Officers of the formation, Nursing Officer in Charge of Dialysis unit Col Cynthia Adiasani and some senior officers.

At the hospital’s Boardroom, Hon Ofosu-Agyare indicated that they were very much impressed with the improvement of the two patients since they were brought to the facility for treatment and thanked the doctors and command for the quality healthcare delivered. She however wished them a quickly recovery.
