As part of activities marking his 65th birthday celebrations which fell on June 16, the former Member of Parliament for Assin Central and a Business Mogul,  Hon Kennedy Ohene Agyapong donated some items to the 37 Military Hospital on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at the Medical Stores of the hospital.

The items included a Pickup track, an incubator, Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) and Infrared Thermometers.

The items were presented to the facility by Hon Kennedy Ohene Agyapong and said that the items were presented purposely because of his birthday and thanked the hospital for the good delivery of healthcare to all Ghanaians and beyond.

The Head of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Division of the 37 Military Hospital Brig Gen Richard Naab received the items on behalf of the commander of the hospital and acting Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ghana Armed Forces Health Services (GAFHS) Brig Gen Evelyn Vivian Abraham-Kwabiah and thanked him for the gesture.

Hon Agyapong was presented with a plaque from the GAFHS and was accompanied by some of his campaign team.

In attendance were the acting Commanding Officer of the formation Lt Col Alex Abiti, Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) Clinical Naval (Capt) Gifty Ocansey, and Nursing Officer in Charge of Public Health Col Mercy Quaye and some officers of the formation.
